Online Resources
I would like to create online children games. Can someone helps me find resources for me to start with? I have done a little bit of Java, C++ and C#, mostly for college projects.

Science
Im in middle school, and i wanted to start entering science competitions. I’m going to enter into the Young Scientist 3m competition, but i was wondering how you start entering science olympiads across the country. Do you need to be nominated from schools and such. Where do you really start, and does anyone know a website that shows all the upcoming events, like science fairs, competitions etc. ?

Online Resources
A question to the internet oldschoolers who might be residing among us – if a quick trip to your local library “gave 0 results for your search” or not enough anyway, what online resources did you most frequently refer to before Wikipedia was born or when it was still doing baby-steps? I know there were hundreds of sites back then on almost any topic on inquiery, but what were your favourite ones and was there anything close to Wikipedia’s immenseness (minus the risk of false information)?

Online Resources
I am looking for an online resource that has information about other countries. It has to be geared for the second to fourth grade level (everything I’ve found so far, like wikipedia, is too advanced) and include information like currency and major sources of income, agriculture and terrain, living conditions, clothing, ethnic groups and primary religon, political structure, major historical events…etc. Currently the country we’re on is Sudan (I let him pick the country) and I’ve already prepared the worksheets and maps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
